    PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
    Upgrading an existing AHU (air handling unit). In brief, the upgrades will consists of the replacement of bearing, balancing of both fan blowers, re-commission AHU system, installation of two humidifiers and repairing corroded drain pans.
    
    Work is to be completed within twelve (12) weeks after contract award. 
    
    MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
    This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  The Contractor personnel requiring access to secure site(s) must, at all times during the performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, EACH hold a valid SITE ACCESS Clearance, granted or approved by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC).
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
    There will be an optional site visit on August 10th, 2021. Interested bidders are to contact the Contracting Authority named on the Invitation to Tender - Page 1 at e-mail address jessica.lemay@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca before Friday, July 30th, 2021 for additional information.
    
    1. Safety Attire: No safety attire will be required for the site visit.
    
    2. Security pre-screening: All the individuals attending the site visit must hold a security clearance of Site Access. The names of each individual attending the site visit, their date of birth, along with the name of the firm they represent, should be provided to the Contracting Authority by Friday, July 30th, 2021 at 2pm EDT in order to gain access to the site.
    
    It is the responsibility of the bidders to ensure that the Contracting Authority is in receipt of this information by the date and time specified. All contractor personnel/individuals that bidders plan on sending to attend the site visit must be cleared prior to attending. No personnel/individuals will be permitted to access the site without the required clearance.

    Enquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) business days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
