Trade Agreement: CETA / CFTA Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Amendment #001 is issued for the following reasons: 1- Extend bid closing date 2- Cancel public bid opening 3- DSR Exclusion 4- Issue Addendum #1 --------------------------------------------------------------------- PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: 40002825 - 1 Wellington Curtain Wall Repair 1 Wellington St, Ottawa, Ontario Project description: This project consists of providing and installing scaffolding that will allow workers to access a horizontal beam supporting the Curtain wall at 1 Wellington and providing material and labor required to remove metal capping and removing support beam membrane and replace with new. This project also consists of replacing foam insulation around support beam and replacing capping material over cement pillar and properly sealing areas around the metal beam in an effort to stop water from leaking inside the building. Work is to be completed within Ten (10) weeks after contract award. MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid SITE ACCESS Clearance, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on May 28, 2019 at 10AM. Interested bidders are to meet at the Front Entrance of 1 Wellington St, Ottawa, Ontario Due to the nature of the requirement and in order to gain access to the building, all bidders must submit the name (legal name) and date of birth of each individual that will be attending the site visit. This information is to be submitted to the Contracting Authority by email at the following email address: andy.groulx@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca no later than May 24, 2019 at 12PM, as this information must be verified and confirmed through the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD). To gain access for the site visit, all visitors must hold a valid security clearance at RELIABILITY level, issued by CISD, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). You will only be advised if a name is provided and CANNOT access the site visit, if no response is sent back to you, it confirms that the individual has the proper clearance to participate. It is the responsibility of the bidders to ensure that the Contracting Authority is in receipt of this information by the date and time specified. All contractor personnel/individuals that bidders plan on sending to attend the site visit must be cleared prior to attending. No personnel/individuals will be permitted to access the site without the required clearance. Amendments, when issued, will be available from the same government electronic tendering service.
