Nature of Requirements: 

This Amendment is raised to provide responses to questions from
Industry and to extend the closing date to Monday, December 1,
2014 at 2:00pm EST.
All other terms and conditions remain the same.


The Canadian Special Operations Forces Command  (CANSOFCOM) has
a requirement for a rucksack system to support training and
operations where the standard Canadian Forces (CF) rucksack is
unsuitable.  The Rucksack System is to include a separate
adjustable stand-alone load carrying frame compatible with
existing in-service Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS)
equipment, and a PALS attachable high-capacity rucksack bag for
carrying equipment on extended patrol deployments.

The Standing Offer will be valid for thirty six (36) months from
issuance with the option to extend for two (2) additional one
(1) year periods. 

The estimated quantity for the initial 3 year period is 1,500
rucksack systems and 500 for each possible extension year.

To ensure a response before bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least four (4) calendar days
prior to the bid closing date.
