    Amendment 003 is raised to extend the closing date from December
    19th, 2013 to January 16th, 2014, to make a modification and to
    answer a question.
    
    All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain the
    same.
    
    A proposal already submitted may be amended prior to closing
    time by sending the amended correspondence to Bid Receiving, the
    envelope/fax bearing the Solicitation No. B8817-120110/B and the
    closing date of January 16th, 2014.
    
    Canadian Flags for promotional use: 70 denier nylon; 10 inches x
    5 inches with stitched edges and stitched to a 14.25 inch black
    plastic stick; firm quantity of 125,000 units; must be as
    illustrated and described on page 9 (figure 1) and paragraph 5.1
    of the Canadian General Standards Board CAN/CGSB-98.2-2011; to
    be packaged in groups of 100 and secured with an elastic band.
    
    One (1) pre-award sample of the item, test results, and
    certificate of compliance (as specified below) must be included
    with the bid.
    
    a. Certificate of Compliance indicating that flag's material is
    in accordance with the technical specification of 70 denier
    nylon and between 60gm/m² (1.77oz/yd²) and 75gm/m² (2.2oz/yd²).
    
    Laboratory analysis of the product offered showing test results
    for specific tests listed hereunder of physical properties
    detailed in the technical requirement must be provided with the
    pre-award sample. Testing must be performed by an independent
    accredited laboratory establishment and must be in accordance
    with the test methods detailed in the Requirement. The
    laboratory report and test results must be dated after Request
    for Proposal posting date.

    Required for Citizenship & Immigration Canada to be delivered to
    Ottawa, mandatory delivery April 7th, 2014.
    
    Three options exists for a minimum of 112,500 up to a maximum of
    225,000 units.
    
    As and When Requested:	 Maximum of 200,000 units
    
    To assure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
    about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
    by the Contracting Authority at least 7 calendar days prior to
    the bid closing date.
