    Requirement:
    The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for
    Aiguillettes and Shoulder Boards for a total firm quantity of
    580 units to be delivered to the Canadian Forces Supply Depots
    in Edmonton, Alberta and Montreal, Quebec.
    
    The items must be in accordance with the item descriptions and
    the sealed patterns as follows:
    
    Item 1:  NSN 8455-21-913-5347, Aiguillette, gold mylar tube cord
    with 2 metal tabs, worn on left shoulder, design is CF
    Ceremonial Pattern - Sealed Pattern:  DSSPM 634-96
    
    Item 2:  NSN 8455-21-913-6048 Aiguillette, gold mylar tube cord
    with 2 metal tabs, worn on right shoulder - design is CF
    Ceremonial Pattern - Sealed Pattern:  DSSPM 633-96
    
    Item 3:  NSN 8455-21-913-6049 Aiguillette, CF gold polyester
    tube cord with 2 metal tabs, worn on left shoulder, design is CF
    Duty Pattern - Sealed Pattern:  DSSPM 635-96
    
    Item 4:  NSN 8455-21-913-6052 Shoulder Board, CF Sea, staff
    aiguillette strap, gold mylar tube cord shaped in tri-lobal
    decorative knot mounted on metal-stiffened black background,
    includes fittings that attach to shoulder of garment - Sealed
    pattern:  DSSPM 631-96
    
    Item 5: NSN 8455-21-913-6053 Shoulder Board, CF Sea, Ceremonial
    Aiguillette, gold mylar tube cord plaited full length of
    shoulder mounted on metal-stiffened black background,  includes
    fittings that attach to shoulder of garment - Sealed Pattern: 
    DSSPM 632-96
    
    Option:
    This requirement also includes an option to purchase an
    additional quantity exercisable for a period of 24 months from
    the date of contract award.  The option may be exercised for a
    minimum of 290 units up to a maximum of 580 units distributed
    amongst the items and destinations.
    
    Delivery:
    It is requested that the first shipment be made within 30
    calendar days from the date of the written notice of approval of
    the pre-production samples and receipt of the Government
    Supplied Material (GSM).
    
    Government Supplied Material:
    Canada will provide Buttons, Sea 26 Ligne to the Contractor free
    of charge for the manufacture of Items 4 and 5.  Quantity of 1
    button per unit.
    
    Sealed Patterns:
    The sealed patterns shall be available for viewing at the
    following Public Works and Government Services Canada regional
    offices: Quebec Quebec, Montreal Quebec, Mississauga Ontario,
    Edmonton Alberta, Winnipeg Manitoba and Vancouver B.C., and at
    DND, Gatineau Quebec.
