    This amendment is raised for the following reasons:
    
    1) To extend the closing date to Aug. 5, 2014 at 2pm EDT.

    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of
    the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is hereby issuing this
    Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) for the provision of Dry Suits
    and Repair Kits for delivery across Canada.  One National
    Individual Standing Offer may result from this Request for
    Standing Offer.  Firm unit prices for the material is mandatory
    for a three year period with estimated annual useage of
    approximately 80 each per extension year.   The Standing Offer
    will be valid from the date of issuance of the Standing Offer
    for a period of three (3) years with the possibility to extend
    for an additonal two (2) one year periods.
    
    Pre-award samples (PAS) of dry suit and repair kit and size
    chart are mandatory with the bid at time and date of bid
    closing. All items are to be in accordance with Specification
    Annex B supplied in the RFSO.  The PAS will be evaluated against
    Annex D - Evaluation Critera.
    
    No sealed samples are available for viewing in the PWGSC
    regional offices.
    
    This requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement
    on Internal Trade (AIT).
    
    Canadian Content Policy:  This requirement is subject to the
    Canadian Content Policy and is Conditionally  Limited to
    Canadian Goods as defined in clause K4000D Canadian Content
    Definition.  
    
    Enquiries:  To ensure a response before the bid closing date,
    all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in
    writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least seven
    (7) calendar days prior to the closing date.
