    Amendment 012 is raised to clarify Amendment 011 published on April 20, 2018.
    
    
    NATURE OF REQUIREMENT:
    The Department of National Defence’s Directorate Soldier Systems Program Management (DSSPM) has a requirement to purchase quantities of the General Purpose Combat Boot (GPB) and black nylon laces for replenishment of stocks held in Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) supply depots. This contract is intended to be an interim contract to provide boots until the Operational Footwear and Clothing Consolidated Contract (OCFC2) is awarded and boot deliveries are established through appropriate subcontracts.
    
    The GPB’s are intended for general use by male and female members and recruits of all elements of the CAF. The boots will provide enhanced foot protection and comfort for operations in temperate weather conditions within the ambient temperature range of +25 ° Celsius to 0° Celsius. Whilst wearing the GPB, personnel will be required to carry out a full range of tasks including marching over uneven terrain while carrying heavy loads, standing, climbing, operating and maintaining vehicles and equipment, and firing weapons.

    COMBAT BOOTS:
    - 16,000 pairs delivered to Edmonton
    - 24,000 paires delivered to Montreal
    
    Footwear Laces:
    - 60,000 pairs delivered to Edmonton
    - 40,000 pairs delivered to Montreal
    
    OPTIONS TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL PAIRS OF BOOTS, QUANTITIES AS FOLLOWS:
    OPTION 1- 22,400 pairs within 12 months of contract award
    OPTION 2- 22,400 pairs within 24 months of contract award
    OPTION 3- 22,400 pairs within 36 months of contract award
    
    CANADIAN CONTENT:
    This procurement is solely limited to Canadian goods.
