Amendment No. 002 is raised to answer questions received to date.

Amendment No. 001 is being issued to make changes to the request for proposal (RFP) as specified below and to publish all answers to the questions received to date. In addition to change the solicitation closing date be extended to February 18, 2021.

This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number T8804-180087/A dated 2018/12/19 with a closing of 2019/02/05 at14h00 EST. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the previous solicitation.

Aviation Security Operations, on behalf of Transport Canada, has a requirement for the supply of one gas chromatograph (GC) system including any necessary supplemental items and related onsite installation and training and the option to purchase Extended Warranty and Maintenance Service for up to three additional one year periods.

Delivery of the initial system must occur by March 31st, 2021, installation must be complete by June 30, 2021 and training must be complete by September 30, 2021.

A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 10 working days of receipt of the results of the request for proposals process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
