Trade Agreement: CETA / WTO-AGP / NAFTA / CFTA / FTAs with Peru / Colombia / Panama / Korea Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: The Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada, on behalf of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, has a requirement for the provision of all necessary labour, material and supervision required for the mechanical and sprinkler system upgrades at the Canadian Coast Guard College, Sydney, Nova Scotia. The project will replace existing sprinkler systems, upgrade heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems and reduce energy consumption. The work is anticipated to begin in January 2019. Bidders are required to contact alex.russell@pwgsc.gc.ca to view the site, as scheduled tours will be provided as per the standard instructions to bidders SI04 of the invitation to tender. The Government of Canada is committed to reconciliation and meaningful engagement with Indigenous Peoples. This invitation to tender requires bidders to include a plan for meaningful employment and training opportunities for Indigenous Peoples throughout the duration of the project. Meaningful engagement with Indigenous peoples across Canada is a priority of the federal government and our Departments. PSPC has worked successfully in the past to leverage training opportunities, employment and capacity building for Indigenous peoples and is pleased to continue working collaboratively with Indigenous communities and stakeholders on federal projects. INQUIRIES: All inquiries of a technical nature and all questions of a contractual nature are to be submitted to the Contracting Authority: Alex Russell, alex.russell@pwgsc.gc.ca. Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. To assist with bid security and insurance requirements, the estimated cost of this procurement is over $40,000,000.00. Delivery Date: 18/06/2018 The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
