    Structural Inspection Repair Prog.
    
    Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) on behalf of the Department of National Defence has  a requirement for repairs and maintenance to a Cessna L-19 Bird Dog Tow aircraft under the Structural Inspection Repair Program (SIRP). The aircraft is owned by the Air Cadet League (ACL) of Canada and maintained by the Department of National Defence in support of the Air Cadet Gliding Program (ACGP). The repairs include a complete rebuild and refinish of the aircraftand the modification of a complete set of wings. The aircraft and related materials supplied by DND will be delivered to the contractor upon contract award. Upon completion of the work the aircraft will be inspected by the Inspection Authority and delivery will be made at the contractor’s facility.
    
    Period of this  Contract will be One year (1)  plus an additional two(2),12 month option periods, if required.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 14 Wing Greenwood, Greenwood Nova Scotia on 15 May 2017.. The site visit will begin at 0900 ADT (local time), in 14 Wing Greenwood, Greenwood Nova Scotia.
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than May 12, 2017 at 1600 ADT (local time) to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do notattend or donot send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendmentto the bid solicitation.

    This requirement is subject to the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement, the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
