Saint John Ferry Terminal Cathodic Protection System - Saint
John, N.B.

Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement
for a cathodic protection system at the Saint John Ferry
Terminal. The work includes, but is not limited to: Site work
including mobilization and demobilization, removal and disposal
of the existing Denso pile wrap system, cleaning and installing
a protective wrap and sacrificial anodes on the stell pipe
piles. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans
and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.064887.001 forming
part of the bid document. The contract completion is
seventy-eight (78) weeks after contract award.

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the
site visit to be held at the Saint John Ferry Terminal on
September 22, 2015. The site visit will begin at 1:00 pm.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
Authority no later than 4:00 pm September 21, 2015 to confirm
attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will
attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet.
Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will
not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be
precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes
to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be
included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.


New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications
included in the solicitation documents requires attention. 
A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit,
Room 405, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B. 
The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
category: $2,000,001 - $2,500,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and
contract security for construction is required.
