    Carleton Martello Tower Continued Investigations
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for continued investigations at CarletonMartello Tower, Saint John, New Brunswick. The work consists of concrete exploratory openings and inspection of brick vault at Carleton Martello Tower, a National Historic Site and federally designated heritage building operated by Parks Canada.
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work described in the specifications and plans for project number R.076330.001 beginning June 27, 2016 and completing the work by July 31, 2016,
    
    
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site.  Another site visit will be held on Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 at 10:00 AM.  Bidders are asked to meet at the main entrance of Carleton Martello Tower, Saint John, New Brunswick. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority 1 day before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.  Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.  Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given analternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.NOTE: All bidders attending the site visit must wear hard hats.
    
    
    New measures related to Codeof Conduct and certifications included in the solicitation documents requiresattention.
    
    
    The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $100,001 - $250,000 (HSTexcluded). Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
