Supply and Install Metal Roofing Building C-16 Dorchester
Penitentiary, Dorchester, NB 

CORCAN Construction has a requirement for the supply and
installation of a new metal roof at Building C-16 Dorchester
Peniteniary, Dorchester, New Brunswick.  All work is to be
performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for
Project Number R.061823.008 forming part of the bid document. 
The Contractor shall complete the work by November 25, 2015.

It is mandatory that the Bidder or representative of the Bidder
visit the work site.  Arragnements have been made for the site
visit to be held at 4902 Main Street, Dorchester, New Brunwick
on August 11, 2015.  The site visit will begin at 10:00 am at
Building F-114 Dorchester Penitentiary.  Bidders must
communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than August
10, 2015 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the
person(s) who will attend.  Bidders will be required to sign an
attendance sheet.  Bidders should confirm in their bid that they
have attended the site vist.  Bidders who do no attend the
mandatory site vist or do not send a representative will not be
given an alternative appointment and their bid will be delcared
non-responsive.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.

New measures related to Integrity provisions included in the
solicitation documents requires attention.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
cost category: $250,001 to $500,000 (HST extra). Standard bid
and contract security for the construction is required.

A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit,
Room 405, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B.
