Breakwater Extension - Skinner's Pond

Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the supply of all labour, materials and equipment required to construct a rubble mound breakwater extension off an existing rubble mound/steel sheet pile breakwater structure as detailed on the plan and in the specifications.  
The work includes but is not limited to:

.1 Site work including mobilization, demobilization, excavation, and disposal.
.2 Excavation below LNT as required.
.3 Haul and placement of excavated material to/in cell at harbour
.4 Maintenance and rework of cell walls as required to contain excavated material.
.5 Supply and installation of geotextile as indicated on the drawings and in the specification.
.6 Supply and installation of the rubble mound breakwater including core stone, filter stone and armour stone layers as detailed on the drawings and in the specification.

The site of work is at Skinners Pond, structure #303, Prince County, PEI.

All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for Project Number R.078386.01 forming part of the bid document.

The Contractor shall perform and complete the work by March 31, 2017.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $500,001.00 - $1,000,000.00 (HST included).

A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, Cambridge Building, 3 Queen Street, Charlottetown, PEI.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Inquiries are to be made in accordance with SI03 - Enquiries During The Solicitation Period, under Special Instructions To Bidders in the solicitation document.
