Transmission Main and Pump House Upgrade, National Park
Cavendish Campground, Cavendish, PEI

Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement
for the construction of a transmission main from existing well
and complete upgrades to the Pumphouse at Parks Canada Agency
Cavendish Campground, Resort Municipality, Prince Edward Island.
 Specifically, the area of work is in the pumphouse and at well
no. 2.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT

There will be an optional site visit on Wednesday, November 5,
2014 at 10:00 hours.  All interested bidders are to meet
Cavendish Campground Main Kiosk, 357 Graham's Lane, Cavendish,
PEI National Park, PE.   Although not mandatory, all contractors
wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to
attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work.  It is
recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder
visit the work site and examine the Scope of the Work required
and the existing conditions.  Any clarifications or changes to
the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be
included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Please note
that this will be the only site visit for this project. No other
site visits will be arranged during the tender period.

New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications
included in the solicitation documents requires attention. 

A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit,
Cambridge Building, 3 Queen Street, Charlottetown, PEI

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
category: $250,001 - $500,000 (HST included).

The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within
fourteen (14) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance
of the offer.
