Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Reconstruction - Grahram's Pond, PE ED001-201142/A Bysterveldt (PWC), Crystal Telephone No. - (902) 940-7122 ( ) Fax No. - (902) 566-7514 ( ) Wharf Reconstruction Structure 304, 305 & 306 - Graham’s Pond, King’s County, PEI The work under this contract involves the supply of all labour, materials and equipment required for the reconstruction of Structure #304, 305, & 306 at the Graham’s Pond, PEI, as described in the project drawings and in the specification. The work includes, but is not limited to: 1.Removal of top sections of existing SSP bulkheads, concrete decks, fill, tie rods and other items as indicated at the new riprap breakwaters; 2.Total removal of existing SSP bulkheads, concrete decks, fill, tie rods, and other items where indicated to be replaced with new SSP bulkheads; 3.Excavation and removal of concrete foundations to allow construction of new wharfs; 4.Construction of rubble mound, imported riprap, breakwaters; 5.Provision for the construction of a dredging platform including Steel H Piles, bracing, concrete deck and wheel guards as indicated; 6.Provision for cast-in-place concrete decks, steel, sheet piles bulkheads, wales, ladders, wheel guards, tie rods and concrete wall, welding, underwater work, and miscellaneous work related to the construction; 7.Connection to existing wharfs; 8.Concrete bases for navigation lights; 9.All related site work including asphalt paving select borrow sandstone fill, imported gravel, riprap, filter fabric and environmental protection; 10.Traffic control and traffic management during construction; 11.Provision for relocation of disconnection of older service and installation of new services where indicated. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for Project Number: - R.094628.001 forming part of the bid document. Site of Work is at: Graham’s Pond, King’s County, PEI The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $5,000,001 to $20,000,000 (HST extra). The Contractor must perform and complete the work by March 19, 2021. New measures related to integrity provisions included in the solicitation documents requires attention. A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, Sherwood Business Centre 161 St. Peters Road, Floor #2 Suite 204, Charlottetown, PEI. Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
