In order to be considered, a supplier must certify that it qualifies as an Aboriginal business as defined under PSAB and that it will comply with all requirements of PSAB. New Boat Storage Building Cartwright, Newfoundland and Labrador F6879-209225/A Contact Name: Adam Beaumaster Telephone: 709-330-7142 Fax: 709-772-4603 Email: adam.beaumaster@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a requirement to construct a new boat storage building and stand-alone garage in Cartwright, Labrador. The scope of the work for this project consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material to perform the work. Work under this Contract will consist of but will not necessarily be limited to the following: 1.Construct and commission a new boat storage building and new garage, as per the drawings. 2.Coordinate with local utility for overhead power supply, routing and installation. Pay all required contribution in aid of construction charges imposed by the Utility. 3.Extend, re-route (if required) and connect services including water, sewer and power and make ready for use. 4.Install protection bollards around building infrastructure as directed by Departmental Representative. 5.Expand laydown area, as noted on the drawings, including new granular surface course, new chain ink fencing to match existing, new ditching and culvert extension at approach (if required). 6.Reinstate any areas of site disturbed by work to original conditions. Bidders must refer to R2710T GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - CONSTRUCTION SERVICES - BID SECURITY REQUIREMENTS (GI) (2021-04-01) for the Integrity Provisions applicable to this requirement. FAMILIARIZATION WITH SITE Prior to submitting a bid, it is recommended bidders visit the site to review existing conditions and determine materials needed, the means of access and the temporary facilities required to perform the Work. Obtain prior permission from the Departmental Representative before carrying out site inspection. Any omissions from contractor bid as a result of not performing site visit shall not be considered valid for additions to contract amount.
