Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a requirement for a roof replacement at E18 of the North Atlantic Fisheries Centre (NAFC), located at 80 East White Hills Road.

The scope of the work for this project consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material to perform the work.

In general, work under this contract will consist of but will not necessarily be limited to the following:
• Modified Bituminous roof.
• Associated exterior trims and finishes.
• Demolition as necessary to complete the Work.

Bidders must refer to R2710T GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - CONSTRUCTION SERVICES - BID SECURITY REQUIREMENTS (GI) (2021-04-01) for the Integrity Provisions applicable to this requirement.

FAMILIARIZATION WITH SITE

Before submitting a bid, it is recommended that the bidder or a representative of the bidder visit the work site to review and verify the form, nature and extent of the work, materials needed, the means of access and the temporary facilities required to perform the work.   Upon request, arrangements can be made for a site visit by contacting the contracting authority.

Contractors, bidders, or those they invite to site are to review specification Section 01 35 29.06 - Health and Safety Requirements before visiting site. Take all appropriate safety measures for any visit to site, either before or after acceptance of bid.
