Refurbishment of Light Tower - Bacalhao Island, NL

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), has a requirement for the Refurbishment of a Light Tower on Bacalhao Island, NL.  Work under this contract involves the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment, and materials for the repair and restoration of the Bacalhao Island Light Tower, as per the specification and drawings.  The work will take place on Bacalhao Island, NL.     

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Please note that the site is on an isolated island and is only accessible by boat or helicopter.  DFO will be scheduling a site visit during the tender period.  Details will be provided by the Contracting Authority.  

Before submitting a bid, it is recommended that bidders visit the site and its surroundings to review and verify the form, nature, and extent of the work.  Please review Specification Section 01 35 29 - Health and Safety Requirements - and take all appropriate safety measures for any site visit, either before or after acceptance of bid.  

Bidders must refer to R2710T GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - Construction Services - Bid Security Requirements (2016-04-04) for the Integrity Provisions applicable to this requirement.
