Breakwater Realignment - River of Ponds, NL

Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement
for Breakwater Realignment at River of Ponds, NL.  The work will
consist of, but shall not be limited to the realignment of the
existing rubble mound breakwater.  Contractor will salvage,
stockpile and reinstall approximately 4100 m3 of varying sizes
and types of material.  Contractor will also supply and install
an additional 3500 m3 of various type of material consisting of
type III maintenance, core store, filter stone and armour stone
up to 10 tonne in size as shown on the drawings.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  It is recommended that bidders visit the site and its
surroundings and verify the form, nature and extent of the work,
the means to access the site, severity, exposure and
uncertainity of weather, soil conditions and in general obtain
all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other
circumstances prior to submitting bid.
2.  Bidders must refer to Section 01 35 29 - Health and Safety
Requirements, Project Site Conditions, of specifications before
performing any site inspection or preliminary work on site.

Bidders must refer to GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (GI) -
R2710T (2015-02-25) for the Integrity Provisions (Code of
Conduct and Certification) applicable to this requirement.
