    Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement on behalf of the Department ofFisheries and Oceans for the reconstruction of a marginal wharf at Lawn, NL.  The work of this project will consist of, but is not limited to construction of a reinforced concrete deck and treated timber cribwork, demolition and removal of existing wharf, dredging and excavating of bottom, installation of new rock mattress and scour protection, mooring cleats, coping, wheelguard, fenders, ladders, uplands rock and gravel fill and electrical installation.

    Before submitting a bid, it is recommended the bidders visit the site and verify the form, nature and extent of the work, materials needed and the means of access to the site.  Contractors, bidders or those they invite to site should refer to Section 01 10 10, Item 1.5 Familiarization with Site of specifications before performing any site inspection or preliminary work on site.
