Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: YES (MERX) Electronic Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: EA003-151284/A Woodman, Alexis Telephone No. - (709) 772-2980 Fax No. - (709) 772-4603 Harbour Development, Phase II, Mary's Harbour,NL Public Works & Government Services Canada has a requirement for work that consists of but not limited to the following: a) Construction of a new treated timber crib finger pier wharf with reinforced concrete deck, b) supply and installation of rock mattress and scour protection, c) supply and installation of moorning cleats, structural timbers for coping, wheelguard, wheelguard blocking, fenders, ladders and associated hardware for new wharf construction, d) supply and installation of new electrical wiring, pedestals and poles, and e) miscellaneous work atop the former existing Provincial ferry wharf as per project drawings. There will be Cown supplied material at a value of $250,000 that will need to be covered by the insurance of the successful bidder. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Bidders must refer to the Section 01 35 29 - Health and Safety Requirements, Item 1.11, Project Site Conditions, of the specifications before performing any site inspection or preliminary work at site. Bidders are recommended to vist site prior to submitting bid. Bidders must refer to GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS (GI) - R2710T (2014-06-26) for the Code of Conduct and Certification provisions applicable to this requirement.
