Roof Replacement - CFIA, Port aux Basques, NL, Work under this contract consists of supply all plant, labour, equipment  and materials to replace the roof of the main building at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency facility in Port aux Basques, NL.  The project involves, but not limited to: 1) Ddemolition, removal and disposal of existing roofing materials. Roof to be stripped to steel decking; 2) installation of new air & vapour barriers, insulation, cover boards and 2-ply bitumen roofing membrane; 3) replacement of any rotted/damaged flashing, blocking; 
4) replace/repair any missing/damaged vents, drains, etc. Remove various identified items.  

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Bidders must refer to Section 01 35 29, Item 1.10 Project/Site Conditions of the Specifications before performing any site inspection or preliminary work on site.

Bidders must refer to R2710T GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS -Construction Services - Bid Security Requirements (2016-04-04) for the Integrity Provisions applicable to this requirement.
