Public Works and Government Services Canada on behalf of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) has a requirement for work comprising of, but not limited to, the furnishing of all plant, labor, equipment and material for auditorium upgrade at the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Centre, located at 80 East White Hills Road, St. John’s, NL including interior refinishing, paint, carpet, lighting, door and hardware replacement.

 SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

It is recommended the bidders visit the site and its surroundings and verify the form, nature and extent of the work, the means to access the site, severity, exposure and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions and in general obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances prior to submitting a bid.  In order to arrange access to the site, please contact a PWGSC site representative for a review of the existing roof.

Bidders must refer to Section 01 35 29.06 - Health and Safety Requirements of specifications before performing any site inspectionor preliminary work on site.

Bidders must refer to General Instructions to Bidders - R2710T (2016-04-04) for the Integrity Provisions applicable to this requirement.
