    SABS Quarantine Chlorination Lab - St. Andrews, Charlotte County NB
    
    The work under this contract involves the supply of all labour, materials and equipment required for the demolition of the existing chlorination huts and the construction of a new chlorination laboratory building located at SABS, St. Andrew's NB, as described in the project drawings and in the specification.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    There will be a site visit on July 17, 2019 at 10:00am. Interested bidders are to meet at the commissionaire’s desk at St. Andrew’s Biological Station at 125 Marine Science Drive, St. Andrews, NB. 
    
    LISTING OF SUBCONTRACTORS
    Take note that R2710T, GI07 “Listing of Subcontractors and Suppliers” has been amended. See SI08 of the Special Instructions.
    
    All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for Project Number: - R.082682.002 forming part of the bid document.
    
    Site of Work is at: St. Andrews, Charlotte County NB
    
    The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost category:  $1,000,001 to $5,000,000 (HST extra).
    
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within (28) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
     
    New measures related to integrity provisions included in the solicitation documents requires attention.
    
    A public bid opening will be held at the Peticodiac Boardroom, 4th floor, Room #4479, 1045 Main Street, Moncton, N.B.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.  Inquiries are to be made in accordance with SI02 - Enquiries during the Solicitation Period, under Special Instructions to Bidders in the solicitation document.
    
    Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
