    The site visit for this project is OPTIONAL.  Contractors interested in participating in the site visit 
    are required to register with the Contracting Authority in advance by e-mail at 
    timothee.beausoleil2@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca by no later than 3:00pm Atlantic on Friday September 16, 2022.
    
    There will be a site visit on Tuesday September 20, 2022 at 1:30pm Atlantic. Interested bidders are to meet at the Miller Brook Harbour, 70 Millerbrook Wharf Rd, Bathurst NB, E2A 6C3.

    WHARF RECONSTRUCTION - Structure 406 and Structure 301 - Miller Brook NB
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and materials for the construction of the wharf and upgrades.
    
    The work under this contract involves the construction of a new Berlin Wall structure 406 and the reconstruction of the Breakwater structure 301 in Miller Brook, New Brunswick.
    
    The general work requirements for this project includes but is not limited to:
    1. Mobilization and Demobilization.
    2. Submittal of environmental mitigation plan and its implementation(s).
    3. Submittal of a Health and Safety Plan, including provision for Covid-19 protection and its implementation (s).
    4. Submittal of a demolition plan.
    5. Supply, installation, and maintenance of a silt curtain to protect the construction zone from causing silt from entering the watercourse. Contractor is responsible to move it as required to contain the siltation from entering the watercourse.
    6. Submit red line as-builts.
    7. Restore any damaged area to the construction zone to its original state or better.
    8. Cleaning.
    
    All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Numbers R.118345.001 & R.119166.001.
    
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within 35 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
    
    The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 (HST included).
