    In alignment with this important measure, all supplier personnel (including subcontractor personnel) who access federal government workplaces will also be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This requirement will enter into effect on November 15, 2021

    Public Services and Procurement Canada has a requirement for a contract that consists of but will not necessarily be limited to the following:
    
    Demolition work:
    Removal of existing plumbing fixtures, washroom accessories, and finishes to accommodate new room layout.
    Architectural work:
    New finishes, doors, frames, and washroom accessories.
    New finishes and patching and repair of existing finishes to remain.
    Mechanical and electrical work:
    New plumbing and electrical fixtures.
    New built-in filtered water dispenser.
    Modifications of existing systems as required.
    
    The work location is the Mactaquac Biodiversity Facility, French Village, NB
    
    The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $100,001 to $500,000 (HST extra)
    
    The contractor must perform and complete the Work within eleven(11) weeks from the date of notification of the acceptance of the offer. 
    
    *** There will be an optional site visit on November 30,2021. 
    
    Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work.
    
    Contractors interested in participating in the site visit are required to register with the Contracting Authority in advance by e-mail at trisha.doucette@pwgsc.gc.ca by no later than 12:00 pm on November 29,2021. The Contracting Authority will assign a specific time slot. 
    
    There is a Mandatory Site Visit scheduled to take place at Kitchen/Building H33 on Oak Street at 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown at 10h00 ADST on Thursday December 2nd, 2021. NOTE: In case of Inclement Weather on this date, suppliers must call Leesa Young, Supply Officer, at 506-871-1716. A message on the voice mailbox will advise if the Site Visit is cancelled or not. If it is, an alternate date will also be provided.
    
    Bidders are required to submit the Covid-19 Certification (Appendix 4) prior to entering the premises. Bidders who do not confirm attendance, provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, or who do not complete and submit the below certification as required will NOT BE ALLOWED ACCESS to the site.
    
    The contractors representative must not have travelled internationally in the past 14 days, must not have symptoms of COVID-19, and must respect physical distancing measures while on site. The Departmental Representative will show the site to one contractor representative at a time (one-on-one). All bidder questions will be submitted to the Contracting Authority and answered by solicitation amendment/addendum following the site visit.
    
    Bidders are to meet at the main entrance of the Mactaquac Biodiversity Facility, 114 Fish Hatchery Lane, French Village, NB, 10 minutes prior to their specific time slot.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Inquiries are to be made in accordance with S102. Enquiries During the Solicitation Period, under Special Instructions To Bidders in the Solicitation Document. Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
