Requirement
Provide all necessary labour, tools, equipment, materials, safety devices, and supervision required to provide regular maintenance services such that the LaSalle Causeway will be safe, reliable, and meet operational requirements.

Project Scope of Work:  
Work of this contract comprises of the following but not limited to:  
Clean-up; Office Cleaning; Graffiti Removal; Pothole Repair; Grass Cutting; Dangerous Substance Removal; Pressure Washing; Crack Sealing; Touch-up Coating; Snow Ploughing; 
General Labour; Materials; Bridge Annual Cleaning; Traffic Control; as further described in the statement of work and drawing.  

Period of the Contract

The period of the resulting contract will be for two (2) years with three (3) one (1) year options to extend each for an additional consecutive twelve (12) month period.

IMPORTANT: This tender is part of Public Works and Government Services Canada’s initiative to submit bid submission files electronically using epost Connect. Evaluation Procedures: Bids will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the bid solicitation including the technical and financial evaluation criteria. An evaluation team composed of representatives of Canada will evaluate the bids.

Basis of selection: A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
Mandatory requirements:
 
Submission of a Firm Price/Rate in Canadian funds for all the items listed in the RFP, Part 3, Section II, Financial Bid;

Bidders must meet all the mandatory requirements specified in the tender document.  Failure to comply with any or all the mandatory requirements will render the bid non-compliant and no other consideration will be given to the bid.
Drawings and Specifications are available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachments (ATT) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
