    REQUIREMENT
    Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Real Property Branch, on behalf of Environment Canada Climate Change (ECCC) have a requirement to carry out work at Big Creek National Wildlife Area in Port Rowan, Ontario. All work shall be in accordance with Project No. R. 080100.001 Specification and Drawings.
    
    SCOPE OF WORK
    Big Creek National Wildlife Area (NWA), Visitor Experience Improvements includes the following major elements: 
    
    Removal of existing timber fence, gates and signage.Removal of fence and gates can only be done once new fence and gates have been installed for the protection of wildlife. Supply and installation of new timber fence c/w Aquaculture netting, new vehicular and pedestrian gate c/w Aquaculture netting, new signage, new benches and new educational node paving (granular surface) c/w cedar edging.
    
    The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category is between:$100,000.00 to $500,000.00.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    An Optional site visit will be held on the 17th September 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors who wish to attend are requested to give notice in writing with names of attendants. Please contact the Contracting Officer, Mary Caporusso at (416) 318-8637 and email mary.caporusso@pwgsc.gc.ca to confirm attendance. Bidders are to meet at Big Creek National Wildlife Area, Canadian Wildlife Service Regional Operations Centre Main Office 535-695 Highway 59 (Long Point Road), Port Rowan, Ontario, N0E 1M0. Bidders are to meet in the Parking Lot. 
    
    The representative(s) of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. 
    
    Bidders who do not attend will not be precluded from submitting a bid.
    
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    CONSTRUCTION TIME
    The contractor shall perform and complete the Work within sixteen (16) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
    
    MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
    Bidders must meet all the mandatory requirements specified in the tender document. Failure to comply with any or all the mandatory requirements will render the bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the bid.
