Title:  CSC Frontenac Institution, New 50 Bed Living Unit

Location:  Kingston, ON 

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of
Correctional Services Canada has a requirement for a 50-Bed
Minimum Security Unit,  located at 1455 Bath Rd., Kingston,
Ontario.

All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and
specifications entitled Frontenac Institution New 50 Bed Living
Unit, Project Number R.045083.001, forming part of the bid
document.

The duration of work is scheduled to be completed within 52
weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. 

MANDATORY SITE VISIT
The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  Arrangements have
been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will be
held on the 02 August 2012 at 10:00 a.m.  Bidders are to meet at
"Front Entrance" CSC Frontenac Institution, 1455 Bath Road,
Kingston, ON.  

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
Authority, Chinthaka Somaratna, at (416) 512-5268 or e-mail:
chinthaka.somaratna@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca,  two (2) days before the
scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of
the person(s) who will attend.  The representative of the bidder
will be required to sign Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the
visit.

Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be
given an alternative appointment.  Any clarifications or changes
to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be
included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Contractors
must bring picture ID.  No pictures will be allowed and no cell
phones can be brought into the Institution.

Bid Security is a mandatory requirement for this tender, at time
of bid closing.

downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Bidders should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.

Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are
incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and
