    Project Title:  Elevator Modernization - 1 Front St, Toronto ON

    Work for this contract includes general renovation of elevators
    and elevator machinery at 1 Front Street West, Toronto. Work
    will take place in stages, and it is planned for two elevators
    at a time. There are seven passenger elevators and one freight
    elevator. Machine room guarding and car top rails to suit
    current standards and regulations are part of the scope of work
    as well as new hoist ropes, checking and cleaning equipment,
    safety measures and HVAC work in the elevator rooms.
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT
    
    There will be a site visit on Mach 19, 2014 at 10:00 am.
    Interested bidders are to meet at 1 Front St. West, Toronto ON.
    
    The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative
    of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance
    Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not
    signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.
    
    Bidders who intend to visit this location must communicate with
    the Contracting Authority, Lauren Woodhall at (416) 512-5873, or
    lauren.woodhall@pwgsc.gc.ca 2 days prior of the date and time of
    the scheduled site visit.
    
    The duration of work is schedule to be completed within two (2)
    years from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
    
    This requirement is open only to the following companies who
    qualified to be Elevator Maintenance Contractors - Electric
    Elevators, in Ontario:

    Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
    downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
    paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
    contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
    consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
    directory structure.
