Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: YES (MERX) Electronic Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Breakwater refurbishment at Wiarton Marina F2930-140008/A Hassell, Bob Telephone No. - (416) 590-8270 ( ) Fax No. - (416) 512-5862 Breakwater refurbishment at Wiarton Marina, Colpoy's Bay SCOPE OF WORK This requirement is for the repairs of the Wiarton Breakwater Wharf located on Colpoy's Bay off of Georgian Bay in Lake Huron. The work consists of, but not be limited to the following: 1. Construction of a new rubble mound breakwater; 2. Demolition and removal of the designated areas of the existing timber crib and concrete wharf. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: An Optional site visit will be held on 07 August 2014 at 1:00 P.M.. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors, please contact the Contracting Officer, Bob Hassell at (416) 590-8270 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend prior to the site visit. Interested bidders are to meet at Wiarton Marina Ltd parking lot at 827 Bayview Street, Wiarton, Ontario. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Closing date: 14 August 2014, 14:00 HOURS. The duration of work is schedule to be completed within 14 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If such a list has not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. A COMPLETE LIST OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO IS CURRENTLY ON THE BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (SEE APPENDIX 2 OF THE "ITT" DOCUMENT) Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
