    Scope of Work
    Thompson's Bay Dam Concrete Structure Rehabilitation consists of
    a new concrete spillway insert within the existing dam concrete
    channel opening. The work will include but not limited to:
    dewatering and diversion system, full removal of the existing
    concrete/steel composite deck, partial concrete removals of
    abutment and adjacent wingwalls, excavation of bedrock for new
    slab-on-grade foundation, new cast-in-place wingwalls and
    abutment, pre-cast deck fabrication and installation,  metal
    work fabrication,  new timber stoplogs and the installation of
    safety railings, signage, and booms.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
    An Optional site visit will be held on 08 October 2014  at 11:00
    A.M.  Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit.
    Interested contractors, please contact the Contracting Officer,
    Bob Hassell at  (416) 590-8270 to confirm attendance and provide
    the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend prior to the site
    visit.  Interested bidders are to meet at the site,the
    coordinates of the site are:  N 44.34194°N 78.2983°W.  The
    closest address to the path to the site is 1120 Schollard Drive,
    which is located in Peterborough, On.
    Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.  Bidders
    who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an
    alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from
    submitting a bid.  
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
    from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
    solicitation.
    
    Closing date: 23 October 2014, 14:00 HOURS.  
    
    The duration of work is schedule to be completed within 33 weeks
    from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
    
    Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a
    complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
    directors of the Bidder.  If such a list has not been received
    by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will
    inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the
    information.  Failure to provide such a list within the required
    time frame will render the bid non-responsive.  Bidders must
    always submit the list of directors before contract award. 
    
    A COMPLETE LIST OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO IS CURRENTLY ON THE
    BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (SEE APPENDIX  2 OF THE "ITT"
    DOCUMENT)
    
    Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
    downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
    paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
    contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
    consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
    directory structure.
