& Lightning Rod Installation

Scope of Work
Fabricate, install, test and certify roof railing and lightning
rod electrical system components at the Great Lakes Forestry
Centre (GLFC), 1219 Queen Street East, Sault Ste. Marie, On, P6A
2E5, as per engineered drawings and specifications.
Under this contract a new roof railing system is to be added to
the Level 1 roof of GLFC's 'H' Wing & Header House areas and an
addition is to be made to the roof railing lightning rod system
on the Level 4 roof of GLFC's West Wing.

SITE VISIT:
There will be an Optional Site Visit for this requirement on
August 10, 2015 at 1:00PM.. Bidders are to meet at the site, 
Great Lakes Forestry Centre, 1219 Queen Street East, Sault Ste.
Marie On P6A 2E5. Attendees are requested to meet in the Main
Lobby at the Commissionaires Post. A Departmental representative
will meet them and escort them to view the specific locations at
site where work is to occur.
Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit.

Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.  Bidders
who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an
alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from
submitting a bid.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Closing date:   August 25, 2015, 14:00 HOURS.  

The duration of work is schedule to be completed within 16 
weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.

Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.
