    On behalf of Correctional Services Canada, Public Works and
    Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is seeking tenders for the
    provision of all materials, equipment, labour and supervision
    for the replacement and refurbishment of the hot water heating
    systems in Living Units one through Five, and involves
    demolition and removal of existing components as detailed in the
    specifications, drawings and Invitation to Tender documents
    
    The systems include:
    - The replacement of Ten (10) boilers and supporting components
    -The replacement of air handling motors, fan shaft bearings and
    some other components of the air handling systems in the boiler
    rooms.
    
    The location of the work is at the Bowden Institution located
    highway #2 South, Innisfail, Alberta. The project requires
    construction to be scheduled during the non-heating season of
    2015 (during the summer months) to minimize the requirement for
    temporary heat. Work outside of the warm weather will require
    the contractor to provide temporary heating within the Living
    units under construction.
    
    Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
    downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) .  Tenderers
    should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and
    Specifications Package (DSP) which consist of PDF files
    organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
    
    
    NOTICE - OPTIONAL SITE VISIT 
    
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
    Bidder visit the work site.  Arrangements have been made for a
    tour of the work site.
    
    There will be a site visit on February 24 at 10:00 am.
    Interested bidders are to meet at the Bowden Institution,
    located in Bowden, AB.
    
    Personal protective equipment such as hard hats and steel toe
    boots will not be required.

    Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.
    
    
    This PWGSC Office provides procurement services to the public in
    English.
