Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of the Parks Canada, Elk Island National Park is seeking tenders for the provision of all materials, equipment, labour and supervision necessary for the provision of  Astotin Paving, Elk Island National Park, Edmonton Alberta..  The project consists of reconstructing the road base and paving 1 km of roadway within Elk Island National Park as well as reconfiguring and paving two existing parking lots.as detailed in the drawings and specifications and the Invitation to Tender Document.

Drawing and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading ina Portable Document Format (PDF). Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT1) contains the Drawing and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be an optional Bidders’ site meeting on Thursday, 26 May 2016 at 10:30am.  Directions to the Bidders’ site meeting are as follows:
Elk Island National Park entrance is located on Highway 16, approximately 27km east of Highway 21.  
- Turn north ontoElk Island Parkway from Highway 16 and proceed 14km north on Parkway.  No need to pay Admission Fee at entrance Kiosk, as purpose is Bidders' site meeting.  
- Turn left after "Astotin Lake Area" sign.  Proceed 250m west to golf course gravel parking lot.  Meeting location will beat the gravel parking lot.
