Public Services and Procurement Canada on behalf of Correctional Service Canada (CSC) is seeking the services of a qualified General Contractor to undertake the replacement of gun ports, renovation of look-out cages and hazardous materials abatement at Edmonton Institution, 21611 Meridian Street, Edmonton, Alberta.

This project encompasses four separate CSC projects:
1. CSC Project # 539-3605 - Unit #6 Seven Large Rectangular Gun Ports
2. CSC Project # 539-2704 - 4 Round Gun Ports in Glazing
3. CSC Project # 539-2702 - 14 Small Rectangle Gun Ports
4. CSC Project # 539-2703 - Catwalk Grilles

The contractor is restricted to completing their work as per Section 01 14 00 - Work Restrictions of the specifications.  Because of these restrictions, it is strongly recommended that bidders attend the optional site visit.

There will be a site visit on August 13, 2019 at 9:00am. Interested bidders are to meet at:

The front entrance of the facility, Edmonton Institution, 21611 Meridian Street, Edmonton, Alberta.

•Security pre-screening: All the individuals attending the site visit must register prior to the site visit. The names of each individual attending the site visit, along with the name of the firm they represent, should be provided to the Contracting Authority by August 9, 2019 at 3:00pm MDT in order to gain access to the site.  Bidders who have not pre-registered will not be granted access.

• Bidders who plan on bringing electronic devices with them must fill out and submit form CSC/SCC 1467 (see attachments) when registering for the site visit.

Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between:

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
