Requirement:
This projects work is comprised of the replacement of a single speed fire pump with two (2) new variable speed fire pumps. The General Contractors scope also includes the replacement/supply and installation of all required piping, pressure release valves, test headers, automated controls, water tower sensors, a compatible BMS system, nine (9) broken fire hydrants as well as normal power and emergency generator power supply to the new units. The General Contractors scope also includes the remediation of all hazardous materials in the project area in the Institutions Central Heating Plant. All related inspections, testing and commissioning are also included as more fully specified in the solicitation documents. This CHP Fire Pump Replacement project is to be completed at the Correctional Service Canada Drumheller Institution, located just South of Drumheller Alberta.
NOTICE - OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
There will be a site visit on June 23, 2021 at 9:00 am. Interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance at the CSC Drumheller Institution.

Covid Instructions:
A Site tour starting at the EMSI can be arranged but Covid-19 protocols must be adhered to at all times. This includes;

1.         Covid-19 questionnaire 
2.         Mask wearing at all times.
 
Please bring valid Government Identification for verification. Each company will be limited to two attendees for the site visit, depending on the number of registered attendees there may be multiple walkthroughs of the site to limit potential Covid Exposure and to allow for safe social distancing. To ensure a fair bidding process, no questions will be answered at the site visit. Please submit all questions via email to alex.tikhonovitch@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca. Questions and answers will be posted on buy and sell website. 
Everyone wishing to attend must submit name(s) to alex.tikhonovitch@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca at least 3 calendar days prior. If requests submitted is less than 3 calendar days, bidders risk not being granted access for the site visit.
