    TWO PHASE SELECTION PROCESS
    
    This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase process: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers; the second phase (Phase Two) will invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The qualification list will expire within 60 days or upon award of a contract in Phase Two, whichever is earlier, and the prequalification list will not be used in any other solicitation. 
    
    MANDATORY REQUIREMET: 
    
    M1: Suppliers must provide two (2) reference projects undertaken by the  supplier within the last 5 years relating to Fit Up construction.
    
    PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
    
    The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has a requirement for interior fit-up to the main floor of the Carway Port-of-Entry located at Carway, Alberta, approximately 130 m2 area in a two-storey building to process inbound and outbound international traffic between Canada and USA. Scope of this project will include the following:
    
    1. Interior reconfiguration and renovation of designated areas on the main floor;
    2. Removal of hazardous building materials in locations related to renovation areas;
    3. Mechanical and Electrical work related to interior fit-up work;
    4. Provision and installation of CCTV cameras, monitors, workstations and server, including supply, run and installation of cables and conduit.
    
    There will be phasing in place for the work to accommodate continued use of premises during construction and to secure project site to be performed while full operations of the border crossing facility to continue. 
    
    The contractor must perform and complete the work within 33 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
