    Beaverlodge Admin Building Boiler Replacement
    Beaverlodge, Alberta
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) is seeking tenders for the provision of all materials, equipment, labour and supervision for the replacement of the existing boiler at the Beaverlodge Admin Building in Beaverlodge, Alberta as detailed in the specifications, drawings and Invitation to Tender Document.
The existing Administration Building was constructed in 1951, over the years the building has experienced an expansion and a number of major renovations. The building has a gross area of 2,682 square feet. The existing boiler system has reached the end of its life cycle and the controls are no longer supported, parts are unavailable and the chimney is not properly designed for the boiler system
It is AAFCs intention to have the construction portion of this project to be performed during the spring and summer of 2018 to limit impact on the buildings users. Construction will be performed during full operation of the facilities, as a result project phasing must be planned to ensure that disruption to the daily operation of the facilities is kept to a minimum. Due to these constraints it is strongly recommended that potential bidders attend the optional site visit.
Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in the Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and Specifications Packages (DSP) which consist of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure
There will be a site visit on March 13, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interested bidders are to meet at Beaverlodge Admin Building:
    Beaverlodge Research Farm
    100038 TWP RD 720

Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.
