    Nature of Requirements: 
    Work for this Contract comprises of wastewater improvements at
    the Adminsitration and Astotin areas of Elk Island National
    Park.  Work includes construction of two sewage lift stations
    and force mains, approximately 20 spot repairs on the sanitary
    gravity lines, earthwork to restore sewage lagoon berm,
    desludging of existing lapoons, construction of lagoon control
    structures, new fence construction and other associated work in
    accordance with the Invitation to Tender document,
    Specifications and Drawings.  
    
    Contract Completion:  17 months from date of Contract Award
    
    Optional Site Visit:  
    There will be an optional Bidders' site meeting on Wednesday, 22
    April 2015 at 9:30am.  Directions to the Bidders' site meeting
    are as follows:
    
    Elk Island National Park entrance is located on Highway 16,
    approximately 27km east of Highway 21.  
    - Turn north onto Elk Island Parkway from Highway 16 and proceed
    10km north on Parkway.  No need to pay Admission Fee at entrance
    Kiosk, as purpose is Bidders' site meeting.  
    - Turn left after "Park Operations" sign.  Proceed 3km along
    gravel road toward Park Operations.  
    - Turn right at "Y" junction and proceed 300m to Administration
    Building.  Meeting location will be at the Administration
    Building.
    
    Drawing and Specifications are now available for viewing and
    downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF). Tenderers
    should note that Attachment 1 (ATT1) contains the Drawing and
    Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files
    organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
