IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Code of Conduct Certifications - Consent to a Criminal Record Verification Pursuant to section GI01 of the General Instructions to Bidders R2710T, the bidders must submit with their bid by bid solicitation closing date: a. a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder and b. a properly completed and signed consent form, for each individual named in the aforementioned list. The form PWGSC_TPSGC 229 is available on line at WEB sitehttp://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/app-acq/forms/documents/229.pdf Work Description: Work of this Contract includes the procurement, installation, commissioning and electrical interconnection of a directly coupled micro-hydroelectric turbine-generator with integrated controls and switchgear, including modification to existing piping, a head tank aeration system, metal framing, construction of a concrete pad, construction of a small open-walled enclosure and the procurement and installation of new electrically actuated control valves at the Quinsam River Hatchery (the Hatchery). This is an operating production Hatchery that must remain operational during the entire construction project. The project is located at the Quinsam River Hatchery, 4217 Argonaut Road, Campbell River B.C. Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work. Site Visit: Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. A Site Visit has been scheduled for July 17, 2012 at 11:00 am local time at 4217 Argonaut Road, Campbell River, BC. A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the sites. Delivery Date: The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within sixteen (16) weeks of contract award. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $780,000.00 to $850,000.00. Firms intending to submit tenders for this project should obtain tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX services provider. Addenda when issued will be available from the MERX services provider. Firms that elect to base their bid on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the bid calling authority on their intention to bid. In all cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) on the tender form the identification number(s) of the addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for their bid submission.
