WORK DESCRIPTION: The work under this contract shall include the supply of equipment, labour and materials for the performance of all work as required by the contract documents. All replaced items, cut-offs and waste material shall be disposed by the contract in strict accordance with provincial, local, and municipal regulations and Part 8 of the National Building Code and the Canadian Construction Safety Code. The work to be carried out under this contract includes the removal and disposal of existing timber floats and installation of new timber floats at Klemtu Small Craft Harbours Site. DELIVERY DATE: The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and must be completed by September 30, 2019. SITE VISIT: Bidders are advised that there is no site visit scheduled, but the site is open to the public and bidders are responsible with gathering all information necessary for bidding on this project. VALUE OF PROJECT: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost around $250,000.00.
