Title:   Replacement Salt Shed

Work Description:
Work to be done under this Contract comprises of the design,
supply and installation of a salt shed as specified in the
solicitation package.  The site is located at the Fireside
Maintenance yard at Km 839 of the Alaska Highway in northeastern
BC. 

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules
within the scope of work. 

Mandatory Requirement(s):
1.) Designer Qualification: Professional Engineer registered in
BC with a minimum of 15 years demonstrated experience in work of
this nature.
2.) Installer Qualification: Minimum of 10 years demonstrated
experience in work of this nature. 

Site Visit:
There will be NO SCHEDULED SITE VISIT.  However, contractors are
encouraged to view the site on their own.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed by September 15th, 2014.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project
is estimated to cost around 
$475,000.00.

from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their
bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other
