Note to Tenderers: Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure. Work Description: Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to: -the removal and disposal of the existing dishwasher at Kitchen Unit Q. -installation of a new Dishwasher Unit and Blower/Dryer; new Dish Tabling to accommodate new Waste Unit; new Exiting Tabling; and remedial work and painting as required where affected by the Contract. Do not start construction work until dishwasher Unit is shipped (est. 6-8 week shipment from receipt of approved shop drawings). Site Visit: Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. A site visit is scheduled on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 @ 10:00 am local time. Bidders are to meet at the PWGSC Site Office at the Kent Institution located at 4732 Cemetary Road, Agassiz, B.C. Note: All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site visit. No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or lap top computers are allowed into institutions at any time. All contractors attending the site visit must to able to provide a piece of Government issued photo identification at the reception in order to gain visitor access into institutions. Delivery Date: The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within twelve (12) weeks of contract award. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $200,000 and $250,000.
