Work Description: 

Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to:
-Replacement of existing lighting in the Sandspit Inn, Airport Terminal Building (ATB) and Airport Combined Services Building (CSB)
-Replace of existing poles and luminaires in the ATB parking lot, retaining existing pole bases
-Replacement of existing Apron luminaires, retain existing pole
-Replacement and upgrade of existing DDC controlled, low voltage lighting control system in the ATB
-Replacement of existing line voltage light switches in the Sandspit Inn
-Phased construction as required, to accommodate limited interruption to the services of the building
-Supply and installation of a complete, fully functional, tested, and commissioned lighting system, with ancillaries

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.

Site Visit: 
Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
A site visit is scheduled on Thursday, November 22, 2018 @ 10:00 am local time at the Sandspit Airport.   Interested contractors are to meet at the Airport Managers’ office located at the south end of the airport.
Contractors are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority, Ronny Ly at ronny.ly@pwgsc.gc.ca or (604) 318-5750 no later than 48 hours prior to the site visit to confirm attendance.  
Delivery Date: 

The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within eighteen (18) weeks.

Value of Project: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost $850,000.00 and $900,000.00
