    Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Vancouver will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm (Pacific Daylight Time).

    Work Description:
    
    PSPC, on behalf of the ECCC, has a requirement for site remediation of the Pacific Environmental Centre (PEC) in West Vancouver.  
    The Contractor must provide personnel and equipment with appropriate experience for site conditions, including experience in remediating site-specific Contaminated Material. The Contractor must provide specialized material handling, health and safety, and environmental protection procedures, and must have knowledge of appropriate regulations.
    
    Work at Site involves Work with Contaminated Material. Complete list of anticipated contaminants and concentration levels on the Site available separately in Appendices and/or Drawings.
    
    Work to be performed under the Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items, including all ancillary Work, covered further in the Contract:

    Optional Site Visit:
    An optional ONLINE site visit is scheduled for September 28, 2021 at 10:00 am PT. All bidders are encouraged to attend this online meeting. Bidders may attend by telephone (audio) or by computer (audio and/or video). It is recommended that bidders take advantage of the video option as visuals of the site will be presented.
    The login details for this meeting will be made available to all bidders who express an interest in attending, by contacting the Contracting Authority, Ronny Ly at ronny.ly@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca before 3:00 pm PT September 27, 2021.
    Delivery Date:
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 15, 2022.
    
    Value of Project:
    
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $5,000,001 and $20,000,000.
