Title: Remedial Excavation Program PEC Site FY21/22 Location: West Vancouver, BC Site is accessed from Bridge Road under the Lions Gate Bridge (see drawings) Note to Tenderers: Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment File(s) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure. Work Description: PSPC, on behalf of the ECCC, has a requirement for site remediation of the Pacific Environmental Centre (PEC) in West Vancouver. The Contractor must provide personnel and equipment with appropriate experience for site conditions, including experience in remediating site-specific Contaminated Material. The Contractor must provide specialized material handling, health and safety, and environmental protection procedures, and must have knowledge of appropriate regulations. Work at Site involves Work with Contaminated Material. Complete list of anticipated contaminants and concentration levels on the Site available separately in Appendices and/or Drawings. Work to be performed under the Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items, including all ancillary Work, covered further in the Contract: Base Work (A): - Pre-Mobilization Submittals - Mobilization - Site Preparation - Tree and Vegetation Removal - Wheel Wash Service - Infrastructure Removal and Disposal - Trailer Addition - Standby Time - Site Restoration - Demobilization - Closeout Submittals - Non-Contaminated Quality Material Transport and Disposal - Site Facilities - Provision - Site Facilities - Operation - Oversize Debris Removal - Excavation - Backfill-Imported - Contaminated Soil Transport - Newly Excavated Waste Quality - Contaminated Soil Disposal - Waste Quality - Contaminated Soil Transport - Newly Excavated Hazardous Waste Quality - Contaminated Soil Disposal - Hazardous Waste Quality Optional Work (B): - Excavation Option A (Material to be Stockpiled) - Excavation Option B (Material to be Loaded) - Backfill-Imported -Contaminated Soil Transport-Hazardous Waste -Contaminated Soil Transport-Waste Quality -Contaminated Soil Disposal-Hazardous Waste -Contaminated Soil Disposal-Waste Quality Optional Site Visit: An optional ONLINE site visit is scheduled for September 28, 2021 at 10:00 am PT. All bidders are encouraged to attend this online meeting. Bidders may attend by telephone (audio) or by computer (audio and/or video). It is recommended that bidders take advantage of the video option as visuals of the site will be presented. Delivery Date: The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 15, 2022. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $5,000,001 and $20,000,000.
