This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation 
number EZ899-173256/A dated 2017-04-06 with a closing of 2017-02-21 at 
2:00pm PST.  A debriefing orfeedback session will be provided upon 
request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous 
solicitation.

Work Description:

Work under this Contract covers the expansion of the existing God’s 
Acre (Esquimalt) Veterans Cemetery, located within Gorge Vale Golf 
Course.

Work to be performed under the Contract includes, but is not limited 
to, the following work:

1. Supply, delivery and installation ofa total of seven (7) columbaria 
units:
a. Four (4) - 80 niche columbaria,
b. One (1) - 64 niche columbarium,
c. Two (2) - 40 niche columbaria

2. Columbaria to be stone clad as indicated.
3. Columbaria to be installed on engineered concrete footings provided 
by others.
4. Columbaria niche sizes as indicated.
5. Columbaria niches shall be constructed of aluminum or synthetic 
polymer.
6. Columbaria shutters are to sit in ledges without the use of 
rosettes.
7. Columbaria to be constructed from approved shop drawings stamped by 
a Professional Engineer licensed to practice in the Province of BC.
8. Adherence to waste reduction requirement for reuse or recycling of 
waste materials, thus diverting materials from landfill.
9. Optional Work:
a. Provide as an option the purchase, supply and install of up to 14 
additional units within one year 
i. Six (6) -80 niche columbaria,
ii. Eight (8) - 40 niche columbaria

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract and as shown on 
the drawings.

The work must be completed within fourteen (14) weeks of award.

Value of Project:

To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is 
estimated to cost between $250,000.00 and $275,000.00
