Title:  North Apron Expansion and Rehabilitation

Location:  Penticton Airport, Penticton, BC.

**SITE VISIT HAS BEEN ADDED**

Work Description: 
Work under this Contrct covers all labour, materials, and
equipment to rehabilitate existing and construct a new Airside
Apron area, and other related works.  The scope of work
includes, but is not limited to:
1.  Removing exising asphalt pavement 
2.  Common excavation of exising materials from New North Apron
Expansion Area and swale construction area
3.  Placing, grading, and compacting Sub Base material
4.  Removing base material where required; regrading and
compacting base and subgrade and placing new base material 
5.  Asphalt, lower course and surface course, resurfacing with
new hot mix ashaltic concrete including application of prime or
tact coats
6.  Constructing swales and regrading airside graded areas by
scarigying existing and placing new topsoil and Hydraulic seeding
7.  Pavement Marking
8.  Installing new apron flood lighting including Pole, Pole
foundations, control panels, and controls from control tower
9.  Installing new Taxiways, and Apron edge lights and pullpits,
and removing and existing edge lights including pullpits
10.  Adjusting manhole height
11.  Other miscellaneous works 

Site Visit:
A Site Visit has been scheduled for June 12, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. 
Interested Bidders are to report directly to Airport Security in
the Terminal building for the issue of a Visitor security pass
and escort. (Penticton Airport Terminal Building, located at the
Penticton Airport - 3000 Airport Road, Penticton, BC).  Tour
will commence at 10:45am. No late arriving bidders will be
provided access to the site after 10:45am.

Interested bidders who intend on attending the site visit are to
provide their name(s) and company name(s) to Patty Liu at
Patty.Liu@pwgsc.gc.ca no later than 24 hours prior to the site
visit.

**The project is scheduled to commence on 15 September and to be
completed by 31 October 2013.**

Value of Project: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between $650,000.00 and $700,000.00.
