Work Description:
The work to be carried out under this contract generally consists of, but is not limited to
the following, as itemized in the Schedule of Quantities:

1. Mobilization/Demobilization
a) This item includes the lump sum cost for mobilization and demobilization including moving all crew, equipment and material on and off the site and site clean-up after completion of the work.
b) All salvageable material that is not being used in the works but are deemed to be recyclable will be stored and sorted onsite on the direction of the Owner; otherwise to be properly and legally disposed by the Contractor.

2. Dredging of "Class B" Material
The unit rate cost per cubic metre for this item includes all labour, equipment and material to complete the following:
a) Dredge and remove 10,000 cubic meters "Class B" material at Site 1  Campbell River Small Craft Harbour, within the Dredge Area as per CRDR-001 and the specifications. Note: existing wharf and approach will be removed. There will be no dredging under the float lines.

3. Disposal of "Class B" Material
The unit rate cost per cubic metre for this item includes all labour, equipment, and material to complete the following:
a) Transport and dispose 10,000 cubic meters of "Class B" material to Site 2 - Shady Island, within the Confined Disposal Facility as per CR-DR-001 and the specifications.

Optional Site Visit:
There will be no optional site visit.

Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work no later than February 15, 2018. 

Estimated Value: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately $900,000.00 (GST included).
